  • Conservation Plan (see conservation plan and map below that details practices to be installed and maintained as part of CNMP for land application sites, manure storage, and manure transfer)

    • A thorough Microsoft Word documentinventory of the entire operation (livestock, land needed based on crop removal for N and P, equipment, manure storage, land treatment measures, other utilization options) and use of the planning process ensures that all components of a CNMP fit together and are compatible, manageable and meet the long-term goals and objectives of the producer.
       
    • Manure management practices, erosion and runoff control measures, cropping practices, and other measures utilized on application sites are detailed in order to address non-point pollution (runoff and leaching) and ensure compatibility with equipment and manure transfer/storage measures and producers goals.
       
    • Manure storage/treatment and transfer practices (existing and planned) are detailed as well to address the same issues.
