Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008

The Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (2008 Farm Bill) became law on May 22, 2008.

The legislation included fifteen diverse titles, including broad provisions for conservation and energy.

Nebraska NRCS Wins the Chief’s Cup National Earth Team  Award


For the past 8 years, an amazing 98 percent of NRCS Nebraska offices have used Earth Team volunteers. In each of the past 3 years, more than 2,100 volunteers have together contributed over 50,000 hours.
